Principle

Protecting your data is important to us. This website sets no tracking or advertising cookies and loads no advertising scripts. The only third-party services are the ones needed to run it, listed below.

Server Logs and Reach Measurement

Cloudflare hosts this website and stores technically necessary access data (IP address, timestamp, requested page). Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views without cookies and without a personal profile. This data is not shared with third parties.

Email Lists and Newsletter

If you sign up for our newsletter, we store your email address, the time of consent and the IP address used, and we send a confirmation email first (double opt-in). Recipients of our recurring emails (Daily Espresso, weekly and monthly reports, customer alerts) are stored with email address, name and the emails they receive.

Every one of these emails carries an "Unsubscribe" link that switches off exactly that email, and a "Email settings" link where you choose which emails you receive. Both work without a login. You can also write to contact@pangea-intelligence.eu. Purely transactional emails (login link, password reset, invitation) cannot be unsubscribed from because your account needs them.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent, revocable at any time) and Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for customer alerts under a contract; Sec. 174 Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021.

Customer Accounts

Customer dashboards require an account with email address, name, company and a password. For security reasons we log each login with time, IP address and browser identifier, and the owner of Pangea Intelligence receives a notification of each login. This data is used to detect unauthorised access and is deleted with the account.

Processors

We use Cloudflare, Inc. (hosting, web analytics, account database) and Resend, Inc. (email delivery). Both act on our instructions under data processing agreements; transfers outside the EU are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the EU standard contractual clauses.
