Each country is colored and elevated based on its Composite Risk Score (0-100). Higher score = higher supply chain risk. Countries without sufficient data appear dark gray.
Scores are computed by the Pangea Composite Risk Algorithm - a proprietary scoring engine developed in-house. Raw data from dozens of institutional and real-time sources passes through a multi-stage pipeline: statistical normalization, adaptive weighting, cross-dimensional correlation analysis, and anomaly detection. Each indicator is calibrated against its domain-specific scale before being aggregated into dimension and composite scores.
Our intelligence is built on 200+ indicators from institutional databases, conflict trackers, trade registries, macroeconomic forecasts, logistics indices, climate models, and real-time event feeds.

A high risk score does not mean that trade with or sourcing from a country is impossible. It indicates an elevated probability of supply chain disruptions, delays, or cost increases due to political instability, conflict, logistics constraints, or other factors. Businesses operate successfully in high-risk environments every day - but informed risk management requires understanding the landscape.
